2022 Maruti Alto K10 LXI

Maruti Suzuki is now preparing for the 18th August 2022 debut of the new Alto K10. It is now available for reservation at Rs 11,000 and will be sold at all national Maruti Suzuki Arena shops. The K10 has a fully new look, features, and powertrain in its brand-new guise. Although the company may subsequently provide a CNG alternative, as of right now, it is only going to be supplied with a petrol engine.

Standard (STD), LXi, VXi, and VXi+ varieties of the Alto K10 will be available. Solid White, Granite Grey, Silky White, Sizzling Red, Speedy Blue, and Earth Gold are among the exterior colour options that have been described in depth. A new single-piece grille, halogen headlamps, steel wheels, squared-off taillamps, and reworked bumpers are some of the exterior design upgrades on the Alto K10. The colour palette of the cabin is all-black. The top-tier Alto K10 model comes with manual air conditioning, a remote key, four power windows with power window controls on the dashboard, and electric ORVMs. Additionally, it has a dashboard design made entirely of black, a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a digital instrument cluster. Rear parking sensors, dual front airbags, and ABS will all be standard across all models, further enhancing safety. The new Alto K10 expands in size over its predecessor, the Alto 800, and is built on the company's renowned Heartect platform, which also gave rise to the Celerio, Maruti WagonR, and Maruti S-Presso. The dimensions of the new K10 are 3,530mm long, 1,490mm broad, and Height 1,520 mm. It gains a 2,380mm-long wheelbase, making it 20mm longer than the Alto 800's wheelbase, 45mm higher, and 85mm longer overall. Additionally, it will have a 177-liter boot and a 160-mm ground clearance.


A 1.0-liter K Series petrol engine paired with a 5-speed manual and 5-speed AMT will power the 2022 Alto K10. This engine has start/stop technology and produces 67 horsepower and 89 Nm of torque. Alto K10 Base Variant LXI MT 2022 Except for the Renault Kwid, there won't be much competition for the Alto K10 whenever it launches. It would have also provided fierce competition for the Hyundai Santro, but that model is no longer available. The current pricing range with the Alto 800 is Rs 3.39-5.03 lakh, ex-showroom. The new Alto K10's pricing may be slightly higher, perhaps reaching Rs 5.50 lakh for the highest-specified model.
